I am the youngest of three children and was truly blessed to be raised in a Christian home with Christian values.   I surrendered my heart and life to Jesus Christ on a cold November night in 1985 at an old country church that my parents still call “home”.  I am so thankful for praying parents that prayed for me even when I could not pray for myself.  Although I did not live the perfect Christian life growing up, I never forgot my upbringing.  The bible says in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

One of the first activities I did as a Christian was to attend a gospel concert by the group Accapella.  My immediate thoughts were how great it would be to minister to others in song.  Not knowing what God had in store for my life, I genuinely felt a call to be in a singing ministry.

So, beginning at the age of 12, I began praying that if it be God's will, He would allow me to be a part of such a ministry.  God initially answered those prayers in 1994, when I was able to travel and sing for 6 years with a local trio.  Still seeking more from God in my life, my wife, Vickie, and I began singing together in 2004.  In the beginning, we served in our local church by singing duets and specials for the choir.  In early 2008 we were blessed with a couple singing appointments outside the church.  Our ministry really began to expand in 2008 as God blessed us with several opportunities to minister in song. In 2009 many more doors were opened as our singing appointments greatly expanded. In early 2010 we were able to record our first project together.  God continues to bless and we are excited about what He has in store for us.

I was the youngest of 6 children.  My mother and father were both in their 40’s when I was born.  We attended the same church throughout my childhood.  My parents were both members of this church for 80 plus years. I felt the call from God upon my life in December 1975 around my birthday but did not make a public confession until the next February.  The ice was broken in the creek-yes a creek- so that I could be baptized.  In May of that same year tragedy hit my family.   My 27 year old brother was killed in a motorcycle accident. He left behind a wife, a 4 year old and an 8 month old infant.  My family was devastated by this loss.  My mother, though small in stature, found her strength in God.  Through many prayers she was able to gain the understanding as to why this tragedy took place.  My mother was the very definition of what a Christian should be.  She would always make sure that all of her children were in church every time the door was opened.

I started singing this same church at a very young age.  Even as a small child I loved singing to praises to God.   Most of my family is still very active in this little country church.  As I became older I strayed from my Christian walk, however, I never forgot the Christian values that my parents instilled in me as a child.  Through pain, struggles and poor life decisions I found myself so far from God.  There was a void in my heart and life that could not be filled by anything other than the love of Jesus Christ.  I finally had come to a breaking point to realize that God is in control.  At that moment, I begged for forgiveness and completely turned my life over to God.  I vowed to praise Him in all things and to be used for His will in my life!!! My husband and I were married and 2001 and began attending a church in our hometown. We became very active in various music ministries within the church.

God really began opening doors for our ministry in 2008.  We began singing at several revivals and homecomings outside our home church.  In 2010 we were blessed to be able to record our first CD. Little did we know that God has been preparing us to be used as His vessels according to His will.  We are so blessed to have the love, prayers and support of our pastor and church family. Our ministry goal is to reach out to the lost and share the testimonies that God has placed in our lives
